Anger management when angry:

There is no hard and fast rule to control your anger when you are angry. This is obviously the most critical and difficult stage for anger management as the person who is extremely angry is also the person who needs to manage himself. When you are angry, try following the given tips:

The moment you realize the fact that you are angry, sit idle and don’t do anything. Either sit calmly or walk around for some time to control yourself. This will help in regaining your senses.
Breathing deeply helps in lowering down the adrenaline level and you do not feel so angry anymore. Inhale deeply and then hold your breath for a couple of seconds, and then exhale. Repeat this procedure till you have calmed down.
Diverting your attention when angry helps in relaxing. You can watch funny movies, listen to soothing music and even try gardening.
When you are feeling very angry, try to release your anger in a way that is not at all harmful to yourself or others around you.
Be in the company of people who love you the most and understand your feelings. You will not like to burst out on them, and even if you do, they will probably understand the way you feel and support you.
Try to perceive the situation constructively and creatively, and try to consider it as an opportunity to know yourself and your behavior towards the situation and other people involved. Try observing your actions when you are angry.
